I approached my boss at Uhaul and asked if Uhaul would sponsor a build. After some questions and pictures of my build he asked me to come up with a proposal.

I need some help in this build proposal because I am not quite sure what would be a decent setup for something they may be put on display at the front of the store or whatever they may do with it
.
My idea is build a system that has the same color scheme as a Uhaul truck. It would be all white (MB, case) with orange vinyl on the outside and some orange components and orange tubing (maybe UV tubing with UV lights added to the build) inside.

But I am not quite sure what is good nowadays as far as a MB manufacturer and CPU combo, the case should be easy. I plan on using a Swiftech AIO and painting it white (not the fins though) if I watercool at all. I am not sure what they would do with this build so I want to make maintenance easy if I go the watercooling route. I plan on two options for this proposal, one for lower end graphics and the other for a bit higher (thus more expensive) performance.

I have a Cricut machine for cutting out the vinyl and I have access to plenty of vinyl for this project.

I am not going to be picky on this build as far as Intel, AMD, nvidia, etc....

So far it is between this MSI board and this Asus board. Right now the MSI board is in the lead as the colors match the basic aluminum and white colors of a uhaul truck.
But now I need some decent RAM that is either orange in color or has it so I can remove the base heatsinks to change them out for orange heatsinks, if I can find some.

So ideas?

Solution

The only other orange memory i can find is this one, but it's DDR3...

Those are nice but the black is a contrast to the color scheme I am looking for which is primarily white and orange (or an red-ish orange).
But do you know if there is anything that has more orange in it than that?

Solution

Yeah, umm, I am pretty sure they will not approve that price...lol. I most definitely can't afford that so it's out, unless you want to send me the money?

It looks like I will have to go with different RAM heatsinks then. Either that or all white RAM and possibly the LED sets for the RAM. All depends on the cost.

OP you might like this H440 but I think it's modded:

U can paint the internal white parts inside the case orange and also paint the aio tube orange. Put a uhaul logo in the front face of the case.
Paint the heatspreaders of the ram orange. Even the thumb screws and stands of the case in orange would contrast nicely.

I like this idea! Except I would need to add more HDD space and I am still thinking the Swiftech CPU cooler.

I wish I had seen this before but I never received a notification that someone posted a response. Now the price has gone up $100. But this is good!
