PC was giving me some issues with a black screen that would freeze up when i tried to start my pc normally. Tried a fresh install on windows I was able to start windows normally until i tried to install my Video Driver. After that my pc would boot then again with the black screen. A reboot would bring me to a blue screen of death (image attached). A friend recommended a memtest

So I ran a memtest on my PC. First the PC turned off during the memtest and automatically rebooted itself. Then i got the result of the picture. Also the test before this shows 65535+ errors into only the 3rd test it ran.

Solution
Hello... Test the ram in another friends? MB to verify that or RMA time.. if ya don't want to bother... B /
This could determine a bad ram slot on the MB this way?... B /
Hello... I don't use memtest for my needs... but I have a fast 'simple test" to try and correct any Ram/hardware communication programming... B /

Let's try a proper "battery removal" AND CMOS reset Clear to the MB ...ok? B /
Take your time here and be slow and careful to your MB... look in your MB manual/Pdf for pictures and location of the pins. B )
1) un-plug PS from wall.
2) remove MB battery
3) place jumper pins/switch on MB to clear the capacitors... for ~3 mins
4) remove Jumper/switch
5) re-install battery
6) plug monitor into the MB video output OR Video card for a BOOT display
8) plug in PS to wall
9) Boot computer.

Already did it

Only running one stick its a Fury Hyperx 8gb.

So i tried cleaning the ram, running another memtest now seems to be lower in terms of errors; however, its frozen yet again. Would this now be a ram issue or a cache issue

Figured it out just bought some new ram. Said screw it. Memtest went through with 0 errors so guess just ram pooped out. However the black screening was due to a bad driver i used DDU to uninstall the driver that was stuck on it now it seems to be just fine thanks for all the help
