Hi, I am close to ordering a new build, but torn between two PSU's.
I have to make a decision within the next couple of hours, as the store i'm ordering from here in Thailand hasa promotion that will end by this evening.

The build with be a RX570 + Ryzen 3 2200g

Below are the two PSU's that i have narrowed down according to my budget

https://online.advice.co.th/product...w/psu-80-bronze-coolermaster-masterwatt-550w-

Which one would be my best bet?

Seasonic fan personally (have actually had that power supply, ran cool and quiet), they manufacture for many brands. Not sure who Cooler Master uses but they aren't making their own.

I was going to pull the trigger right away with the seasonic, but then i started reading a lot of mixed reviews, with some people saying it's such an old PSU and lacks a lot of safety features. Then other people saying it;s a good PSU...
It can become very confusing when options are limited...

Hope I can help you.
I have the seasonic s12ii personally installed into my brother system.
I found reviews of the masterwatt in dutch( my language) : https://nl.hardware.info/artikel/77...ingen-review-power-voor-een-prikkie#conclusie

and it sais compared directly to the s12ii the unit is nothing special. which is understandable because the s12ii scores 9 and 10s.

as for the seasonic uhh it socred 9 and 10s. so I can say from my own experience and from reviews the seasonic is the better choice.

It is older but still pretty well reviewed, the Cooler master is newer but the reviews are much more mixed from what I see in the US. Again though, I don't know who Cooler Master uses, I think it FSP. Hopefully someone else chimes in with their experience with Cooler Master. But that old Seasonic is still working well in my nephew's PC, while it is a lower watt system i5 and 1060... I found out he had it sitting on his carpeted floor, starving it for air for a couple MONTHS. I flipped it over in the case when I saw that.
