So I have EVGA Geforce 560ti that is currently dying on me as far as I can tell.

I love the card dearly and its done a great job but recently my PC crashed on me and now when I boot up the card is showing vertical red dots in Windows and the Nvidia Drivers don't show up.

Device manager in Windows 10 shows Error Code 43. Tried the card in another very similar rig and far as I can tell the same results occur.

So I am looking to get a new card and hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I have not looked at system parts such as this for a long time.

Hoping someone could suggest a few cards from

www.canadacomputers.com or www.ncix.com that would work for what I need to do and the job.

Or any place in Canada I could order online.

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Thanks.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: October to November 2016

BUDGET RANGE: Looking to spend as low as $150.00 to upwards of $250.00 (after taxes and before rebates).

Location: Ontario, Canada

Current Computer Build as of today:

CPU - Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366
Motherboard - Asus Sabertooth X58
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series DDR3 1600MHz - PART #: F3-12800CL9T-12GBRL (3x 4GB = Total 12 GB RAM)
SSD - Corsair Force Series Sata 3 Solid State Drive 128 GB
HHD - Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB - 7200 RPM
Graphics Card - EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB 1024MB GDDR5 (01G-P3-1561-KR)
Power Supply - Corsair Professional Series HX850 Modular 850 Watt 80PLUS Silver Certified Power Supply (CMPSU-850HX)
Case - Cooler Master HAF X
HeatSink - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 4 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler
Generic CD/DVD Burner
Operating System: I Originally purchased Windows 7 Professional OEM edition. The OS was upgraded to Windows 10 Professional a few months back under the Free Windows 10 Upgrade offered by Microsoft.

PARTS PREFERENCES: Prefer EVGA but not too picky on what card brand as long as its good and can last me a fair bit and won't bottleneck the system.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes but not necessary

SLC or Crossfire: Yes if possible would be nice to have a card that is able to do SLI/Crossfire down the road if needed.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1024x768 and 1920x1080

Why Are You Upgrading: My 560ti graphics card kicked the bucket. I need a new graphics card for this rig.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want a card that I can use for the next 3 years or can be recycled for a later build if I decide to build a new pc. Limited life time warranty if offered would be nice or minimum 3 years warranty.

Your cpu is a bit old now and may bottleneck the recent pascal/polaris cards a bit. Also your monitors are of different resolutions and you might not get the best out of the difference in resolution. Having said that, its always better to have one single higher cards than sli/crossfire arrangement, as not all games are optimized for sli/crossfire.
Taking all of that into consideration and also the fact that you have mentioned the willingness to move to a new build in future, the below cards can be reused with ur upgrade.

This would be the top end for that 950 http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_1200_557_558&item_id=100243

I don't want to go too far below that either. You are looking to the future and DX12 is the future which the 480(PREFERRED) is fluent in. The 970 isn't as DX 12 friendly. Although it goes blow for blow and beats the 480 in some titles but with DX12 titles the 480 has a good lead. Going down to 3GB and crossing over into bottlenecking territory the 1060 http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=559&item_id=099741 is my next choice. Play it safe, inside your budget and look look to the future? http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=558&item_id=085595

Is there any other cards that I could get that would be in my budget of $150.00 to $250.00 that either of you could suggest I could get right now from www.canadacomputers.com or www.ncix.com?

I don't play any graphics crazy intense games as you can see. I just need something that could maybe work for now.

Also I am located in Canada. I prefer to buy somewhere nearby or within Canada.
