Need startup floppy/boot disk?

I have replaced the hard drive in my neighbor's Pavillion,
and would llike to install WIN 2k on it. I am asked for a
BOOTABLE FLOPPY, but cannot seem to find one that will
works. When I attempt BIOS settings/changes, I am NOT
given the option to boot from the floppy drive....(Maybe
I'm missing something....)
Any assistance with this would be seriuosly appreciated.
(I've done this same job on my own computer, with no
problems whatsoever...)

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.setup_upgrade (More info?)

To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom or setup
disks. The set of four install disks can be created from your Windows 2000
CD-Rom; change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom and execute
makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the
prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install.

I will give this a try, and I'll let you know how it goes.
I created the 4 bootable disks from the win 2k master, so
hopefully I'm halfway there...
