Need the most current driver for Realtek lan networking RTL 8167

Need an updated RTL8167 for LAN network for Dell laptop. I cannot find it at the Dell site. Mine is from 2012. 7.61.612.2012

The driver on the Dell site is the latest version for your Dell model. Drivers from elsewhere won't be compatible because the Realtek chip in your Dell has been custom-made for Dell so it needs a custom driver, and only Dell has it.

It's an older driver and my internet connection is horrible. I was really hoping there was a better driver out there. Thank you for your answer.

have you tried disabling IPv6?
