I recently upgraded my mobo, CPU , and GPU. When i first turned on my PC everything was fine. But after 3 restarts to tweak some stuff in my BIOS it said i need to activate windows, I went to reactivate it and it wouldn't activate it. I tried buying a whole new windows 10 home and that didn't work. I tried asking Microsoft for help but they kept wanting to get in my computer which i did not allow them because last time i did that he/she almost corrupted all my files. The support person said i need to re install my windows using a media creation tool. I wanted to wait one more day to do that so I can play my new game i just got (escape from tarkov). Now when i got home i turned my PC on and its not popping up with the activate windows thing on the side of my screen. Do i still need to re install my windows 10? Whats going on?

Update: It says i need to activate it in my windows setting.

Major hardware changes do require Windows to be reactivated. At least with Windows 7 you could unplug your network cable and go through the activation process where it would give you a number to contact Microsoft, which would connect you to an automated service which would fix your issue, and reset your activation s.

No i went to settings and update and security and i went to activation and did it there but it never worked

Not sure what you are asking but if you don't activate you will get reminders and will not be able to customize your settings.
Since you bought Windows 10 Home you can just enter that key in the Change Product Key area and then try to activate. If it fails just do the phone activation. As long as that key is good it will activate.
