Need to know if BIOS or UEFI is being used when I cannot boot

My laptop cannot boot, so I found out I need to use a USB/CD bootable media for windows 10. I then need to know wether my Acer laptop uses BIOS or UEFI, but all the solutions I've read require me to boot properly, which I cannot. I can enter the BIOS/UEFI environment though, by pressing F2 when I turn on. Is there a way to check wether I'm using BIOS/UEFI inside the BIOS/UEFI environment?

Alright I found it!
On the BIOS/UEFI environment under the "Boot" tab the first line is "Boot mode [UEFI] " which I'm guessing means that my computer is using UEFI... :D I know, I'm a genius.

Win 10 installer is smart enough to work out what PC can boot as and will adjust its boot method accordingly, and set PC up to boot off whichever is best for PC. You don't need to know those details before you start.

it only helps if you have problems trying to boot USB if PC is set up for secure boot.

are you installing or repairing?
