My pc is from 2013, I'm now able to afford to update my pc and was wondering if I should just save to buy a whole new build or upgrade my current one as I can. I would like to be able to edit videos on my pc and game (not for gaming channel, its part of my college work)

Here are my computer specs (ask if I accidentally left anything out):
Intel Core i5-3330 CPU @3.00Ghz 3.20Ghz.
Ram: 8GB (I know that's low)
Windows 10 64 bit.
Graphics: GeForce GTX 650 Ti.
Harddrive: 930 GB hdd.

Thanks in advance.

Probably best to go new. Upgrading would mean a new CPU, mobo, RAM, gfx card anyway... plus anything else you feel needs replacing besides. But strictly for gaming, the gfx card upgrade alone to a GTX 1060 6GB would make a huge difference.

In what way is your current build not doing the job for you?
What is your budget?
I see your current setup as being reasonably balanced.

If your interest is in gaming, particularly fast action shooters, a graphics card upgrade is likely a good thing to do now.
Your GTX650ti can run on as little as a 430w psu. 430w can support a nice GTX1060 upgrade. You could go stronger if your psu permits.
Such an upgrade can be moved later to anything.

I5-3330 is also a decent cpu.
You could upgrade to a I7-7700K and get 4 more threads and a faster clock.
Faster clock is most important for games.
Particularly sims, mmo, and strategy games.
7700k is a decent option if you buy used at a good price.
More likely, a 8th gen cpu like a 6 core I5-8400 or 8600K would be better. Such an upgrade would require a new motherboard and ddr4 ram.
Extra threads will benefit most editing apps.

8gb you have now is likely ok, but adding 8gb is not supported.
It is likely to work but success is less than 100%.
Better to plan on a 2 x 8gb ram kit.

I really like a ssd as an upgrade option.
Once you use one, you will never go back.
240gb should be minimum. Use the HDD for bulk storage such as video files.

Very long rendering times for videos.
Currently it is very laggy on new games, even on very low settings.
