Steam support is probably a top contender for the worst support (I'm up to over a week waiting for a response) so I'm going to post here and hope some of you fine people can help me out
problem: I play many games and several are run off steam. CS:GO (counter strike global offensive) is the only one with any problem: it freezes within seconds of being in a match.
specs:
CPU: i5-4670K
mobo: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb (2 x 8gb) DDR3-1600
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 780
Windows 7 home premium SP1 OEM (64-bit)
Things I have tried:
1) Ensured computer drivers and everything were up to date.
2) Reinstalled it.
3) verified game cache in the games properties on steam.
4) turned off all fancy options like anti-aliasing and such to bare minimum or off.
5) refreshed my steam files (generic auto-response from steam support suggestion) involved running dialogue and doing a flushconfig.
None of that helped at all. If anyone has idea's I would sure appreciate the help. At steam supports rate I should have a solution through them sometime next year.
