Need USB 2.0 External DVD Driver for Win 7

Hello,
I just bought a USB 2.0 External DVD Combo Drive. The included software is for Win.98. This is for my Blue Gear mini laptop with Windows 7 installed. I can't find a Win 7 driver update for this device on Microsoft's Compatibility center site. Any suggestions?

Have you tried just plugging it in? I've never known an external DVD drive that doesn't work out-of-the-box with W7
