Hello all,
I've been rethinking my approach on my new PC build. I'm getting Dual SLI Galaxy GTX 680 4GBs that I plan on really overclocking, and an i7-3770k which will also be overclocked. The fan that comes with the i7-3770k is pretty intense, and it usually keeps my friends i7 at room temp all the time (meaning as cold as possible), even when hes playing DayZ or BF3.
The other thing is that this is going on a Motherboard with Quad SLI support, which I plan on doing eventually. Also I could save some money if I went with reference cards over the Galaxies (minus the water cooling).
Right now all together it is $2288 with the two GPUs. Should I make a custom water cooling kit to OC higher and save a little money on the rig ($2108 minus the WC kit), or just go with the Galaxy fans?
Thanks for any help in advance.
