Hi Everyone,

I need to setup a wireless web camera, and use it for conferencing purposes.

Toward this end I purchased a http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/broadcaster-wifi-webcam.

What I didn't read was the "small" print, which is that this product works with pretty much anything that is Apple friendly and absolutely no versions of Windows.

I would like to try and find a workaround in order to use this device with Windows 7. I don't want to go all the way toward creating a Virtual Machine of Snow Leopard, or anything that fancy! However I am willing to put some effort in so that I can use this with my laptop.

I can't believe that this doesn't work with any version of WINDOWS!!!

Next time I will read the print more carefully.

Kind Regards,

Davo

maybe this would help? http://www.solvusoft.com/en/update/drivers/webcam/logitech/broadcaster-wi-fi-webcam/sub-models/ though itf it doesn't, I would go and return for a unit that says windows on the box

Hi All,

There doesn't appear to be an alternative product, if anybody can make suggestions here they will be greatly appreciated.

Hard line the link that you provided is to a program called "Driver Doc", it will not help me. Unfortunately the "Driver Doc" creators have noticed that the Logitech Broadcaster does not have Windows drivers, and they have used this to their advantage.

Any further suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Davo

My bad.. I didn't thoroughly go through the page. if there is nothing that will work, then you have no choice but return it.. what are you needing
this for that only the one for apple will work for you?
