Needing Upgrade advice

Currently have an AMD Phenom x4 965, with an AM3+ MB and GTX 960.
Im looking to Upgrade my processor to something that wont bottleneck my graphics card. Looking at staying in the low $200's or $300's if i need a new MB.

The 1200 is a better value since when both are overclocked, since the performance is basically the same. The only thing you are paying for the 1300x is a higher base frequency and a larger turbo range ($20).

Oh, The 1300X can handle 1080p all right. mosto f the time even at almost maxed out settings.

Well yeah, but even though it has better value, you do squeeze a little bit of extra performance out of the 1300X, which is why i said it.

Don't forget you'll need DDR4 RAM.
