Needs for overclocking

I'm looking to overclock my processor which is an fx 8320e from 3.2Ghz to 4.0Ghz or above, and my chipset from my motherboard is 760g do i just need a cooler? or should i also buy a new motherboard with a 960 chipset?

Forget it, no 760 chipset MB is good enough to OC FX 8xxx on. If you want to OC it, get an MB with 990 chipset and cooled VRM 8+2 phases.
