I've been having issues with my Google nest wifi dropping wifi. I've been through all the trouble shooting steps and nothing has seemed to help. I have a network cabinet with a shelf on top that the router, smartthings hub and DeepSentinel camera hub all set on. I'm wondering if that could be part of the issue? I don't know how far apart things like that should be set.

Look in the respective device User Guides/Manuals.

There may be some guidelines or diagrams regarding air space/clearance for any given device. Left, right, above, below, front, back.

If fans are involved you do not want the "exhaust " from one fan blowing into the "intake" of another device.

Likewise in a vertical stack - hot air from one device should not rise up into the device above.

That said I would suspect a loose connection or perhaps interference.

Check all cables and connections.
