Netgear Pl1200 (powerline adapter) doesn't connect to internet

All the lights are on the adapters, but for some reason I'm not getting internet form the power line adapter. Even when I disable the wifi on my computer and look at the LAN, it says it's sending bytes, but not receiving bytes.

I tried going through it, but it did nothing as I just purchased them today. Also in the manual that came in the box it says that the Ethernet light doesn't have any blinking parts to it as seen here (just solid and off) http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/PL1200/PL1200_FullIG(PAS)06May2015.pdf

I will assume that you are simply trying to attach a PC using the adapters and not set up a remote AP, as that has some steps that could be the issue.

I would personally try troubleshooting them, and if that fails just exchange them. Most are simply plug and play.

Insure that both are in outlets directly (not on powerstrips), insure that the cable from the router LAN port to the first adapter and the cable from the second adapter to the PC are both working by testing them both with something else, like attaching your PC directly to the router LAN port, and take a look in your router when everything is attached and all lights on and PC powered up to see if the PC is getting an IP address in the router DHCP assignment table. You can also try pinging your router gateway address from the attached PC.

You are correct that your model does not use blinking, so all should be on and solid.

You might try just quickly resetting them both by push the small reset button on the bottom with a bent paper clip and holding the button in for a second to recycle them to factory settings.
