Hey everyone! Recently I was looking at some of the NAS options out there and came across this setup from Western Digital.

Is it really as described? Would a setup like this enable me to stream my media files to say, my television via chromecast? I see they have PLEX software just not clear on how it all works if I can just access it from my phone and send it to the tv as long as the files are on the cloud? Just curious on your opinions.

With Plex setup on your network you can use any network storage to stream media files, you don't need to do it from the cloud. Having data on the clould would enable you to access the files when outside the house. Read on the documentation and usage for plex and you will see what it can do and how to set it up.
