Dear reader,

Long story short. I have an assignment which asks me to find a good Security scan software that you run on the netwerk and scan all devices with. An example for this is GFI Languard, but i was searching for an open source alternative. Important, it is meant to be a software that you install on 1 PC and that it automaicly scans the network. So not with loose clients.

Thank you for taking the time reading this thread ! I hope to get an awnser from you :??:

We don't do people's homework, nor do we discuss hacking. However, you may want to look into OpenVAS if you want to learn about the subject matter. The software is free and open-source, so it's perfectly suitable for one's educational needs.

That is really close ! I don't need a hack if it came over like that.I was searching for a open source program which lets you scan client computers on the network. All while being handeled by one person. OpenVAS is good one i will definetly look more into it ! If you or anybody else has more suggestions, that would be great !

I'll keep an eye on this one but it's just possible he's genuine. So long as he know we ban folks for asking for help in hacking, I'm sure he'll keep it clean.

I can't find a duplicate but if this is homework, it's no way of studying and learning properly, even in the digital age you have to ferret the answers out and not be spoon fed them.
