Was running Win7, had some weirdness with the network, decided to reboot the computer and while I was about it do the Win10 upgrade I'd been sitting on for a while.
Network issues are abounding. No error messages or anything, but after a while any attempt to access either of my NAS devices (a Synology box and a self-built TrueNAS) results in the program in question "Not Responding" for some time - could be 20 minutes or so - and then eventually coming back to say the address does not exist. Both boxes show up when looking at the Network in Windows Explorer, but attempting to open them locks Explorer up. The Emby media server I have running on the Synology, with the TrueNas mounted inside it, continues to work just fine.
Rebooting fixes it, for a while. Today, I was booted up for maybe half an hour when the entire network died. No internet, no nothing. Tried tethering my phone but my computer would not acknowledge that my phone was plugged in, even when I set it to data transfer mode. The two Windows Explorer windows I had open, pointed at two different folders on my TrueNAS device, continued to sit around and never threw any sort of error or anything you'd expect if the network path suddenly disappeared.
Through all this, I was able to access the internet via WiFi on my phone just fine, as well as my media server. Router lights are all on, everything looks fine.
Running Win10, as mentioned above, version 22H2, with a wired connection to the router from my H170 Gaming 3 motherboard. Not sure what other information is relevant to the issue at this stage.
