Network broke after install

Hi, I installed Ubuntu server 14.04. I used putty to connect just after the install and it worked fine. I rebooted and no-go. Ifconfig shows that I don't have an IP address (DHCP). Can anyone help?

If you manually start/restart the DHCP daemon (usually the command is dhcpd) do you get an IP address? If so, sounds like your networking scripts are not configured for your adapter.
