No error codes, warnings, pop-up windows?

Any indicator lights on the Ethernet adapter? What about on the applicable router port?

Is you computer directly connected to the router or are there wall outlets, switches, powerline adapters, etc. involved?

Did you check that the Ethernet cable was plugged in on both ends.

Have you tried another known working Ethernet cable?

Run the Windows built-in troubleshooters.

Download the network adapter's drivers from the manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure for your network.

Who has admin rights to your network's router? You may need help from that person.

If none of the above actions work then run and post the results of "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the command prompt.

There's lights on the cable and the ethernet port

It's directly connected

Tried using another Lan cable

Tried using my laptop, apparently it cannot detect any WiFi on it.

I currently have admin rights to the router
