network drivers missing pci simple communications driver windows 8

Installed windows 8 and now Ethernet drivers are missing. I cant connect to the internet to update anything

Hey Grundi. Get access to a computer (could be friends laptop, local library etc.) with internet and grab yourself a reasonable size USB/Thumbdrive/Portable-HDD. Go to the manufacturers website and download the appropriate driver. Save the driver to your USB. Plug that bad boy into your Windows 8 PC. Update and KAPOW you should be good. Make sure you update your drivers regularly.
