Network issues with Asus crosshair vi hero

I've been using the asus crosshair vi hero for a few weeks now and everythings works properly except the network card. (Intel I211)

Pc specs:

• 
  ■ Asus crosshair iv hero
  ■ AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.7GHz
  ■ G.skill trident z rgb 3600 @ 2933MHz
  ■ Asus gtx 1080
  ■ crucial mx300 525GB and WD green 1TB
  ■ Windows 10
  ■ i am also using a TP link powerline adapter

The problem is that everytime i start up my pc i can't get an internet connection.
Latest bios and all the latest drivers are installed and i reinstalled windows two times already.
Also the network card is working fine according to windows. It shows in the devicemanager as well.

The strange thing is when i pull the powerline adapter out of the power outlet and put it right back in it works most of the time. And if i turn off intel lan in the bios then restart the pc and turn it back on it works too.

I also tested the powerline adapter (and lan cable) with two different notebooks and they worked fine. And these it worked properly with my old setup too.

What i already tried:

• 
  ■ reinstalling the drivers multiple times
  ■ reinstalling windows
  ■ turning off and on the lan controller in windows devicemanager
  ■ uninstalling the lan controller via devicemanager and reboot

Edit: Maybe I should mention that the powerline adapter goes into sleep mode after some time and considering the above described behaviour I assume that the network card isn't able to wake up the adapter for some reason.

Funny enough I recently had this problem, your little network icon, does it have a yellow exclamation mark in it most of the time when you boot ?

If so, its something to do with the drivers, when I installed my new evo 960 nvme, and re-installed Windows 10, I just stuck with the drivers Windows installed rather than using the Intel drivers, not had a problem since.

It's a red cross at the network icon, it can't detect an ethernet cable.

I have almost the same problem with my new asus crosshair hero 6 (and r7 1700). Earlier i had msi tomahawk arctic b350 and everything was fine with it. After a while (it can be 10 minutes or even an hour), the Internet is turned off and connected again. In the system events I see a yellow icon with title "e1iexpress" and comment "Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection
Network link is disconnected." and after 1-2 minutes the message "Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection
Network link has been established at 100Mbps full duplex.". I deleted absolutely all previous drivers and put new ones, also disabled the power saving mode of the network card. Is mobo defective?

So i found a solution! Connect extra power 4-pin to the motherboard besides 8-pin. I bought Molex>4-pin adapter for it. Now no issues!
I think it's Asus fault, because they didn't write anywhere in the manual that 8+4 connection is necessarily.
