Network laser printer working through a router is very slow

My HP Laserjet 2010M has a network card and I am running it off a Mac G4 on OSX Tiger through an internet router. It works but is incredibly slow. Any suggestions on how to speed it up?

How many devices are wirelessly connected and running concurrently? It could be a bandwidth problem. Try disabling other wireless devices and then see whether there is any improvement.
