Network troubleshooting HELP

"Ethernet" Doesn't have a valid IP config and the default gateway is not available. These are the two problems I have as to why my Ethernet connection is not working. I have tried everything from changing wires, update network drives, CMD prompts, reset network settings. The wifi works in my house and wired connections in the house for other devices like Ps4's etc.. Is there anything else I can try? I'm unsure as to what else I can do. I don't know if a recent windows update has anything to do with it or windows defender is potentially interfering with something.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Run and post the results of "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the command prompt.

Can you confirm a known good working device has the same subnetmask, gateway, DHCP and DNS server in the IP config output?
Also, do you have a red x or a yellow exclamation point on your network icon, in the system tray?

Yes, I can confirm that one does have the same details as above.

It is a Yellow exclamation point

What make and model router do you have and who has admin rights to the router's configuration settings?

Compare your computer's Ethernet adapter Ethernet settings to another known working wired computer on your network.

Is that computer also using 192.168.1.254 for Default Gateway and DHCP Server?

It is a BT HUB 5 I have the admin rights to go into the settings.

The other wired connection is also using the same.

You could try setting a static ip for your computer with .150 or something.

First see if your wired network adapter is disabled. You can find it:
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

Second try to Winsock reset:

If the above link fails and you cannot open a command prompt and ping the loopback address of 127.0.0.1 (You should get replies), then your physical network interface card is broken.
