Networking Printer won't connect via ethernet cable

So I've just bought an HP - LaserJet Pro 200 MFP M276n All-in-One Laser Printer. I can use the printer fine by directly connecting it using the usb cable but can't get the ethernet cable to work. I've plugged the cable into the printer and the router but the printer says the network cable is disconnected.
I've been trying to see if there is anything in the router settings that can help me, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

Doesn't matter, I didn't realize the cable that came with the printer was a telephone cable, not an Ethernet cable
