Networking Question

Hello, My name is Esten
At my friends house they have an AT&T modem/router. They have multiple computers hardwired with no issues but theres one laptop. Everytime the laptop joins hops on the network, all the other computers on the network dc and reconnect. My friends have looked for a solution with no luck so now im looking, any suggestions?

Sounds very odd behaviour, I cant think of any reason this would occur, maybe the solution would be to get a new router.
