Right for starters it'll proberly be a good idea to find out what you plan on using the computer for and what your actual budget is. Few things I can think of the top of my head is why the VGA cable when you've bought a TFT Monitor with DVI output?

Another option is there any particular reason for going for AMD & ATI over Intel & Nvidia?

Why do you have a SATAII controller? (There is 6 (Six) Sata portsalreadt on the mobo?

BTW unless you really need the extra few seconds which doesn't justify the price get a few cheaper HDDS. Avoid the hype about raptors good drives

Egad! Toss those 1650s. A single 1950Pro or XT, or a 8800GTS 320mb is a much better choice. Seeing as you want excellent graphics, that'd be the 8800GTS. If your budget allows, you could even go up to a GTS 640mb or GTX. Crossfire/SLi is only for use with the absolute best (8800GTX) otherwise it's better to get a single card. Faster and cheaper.

And I echo everything else Chris said.

Instead of the AMD board and CPU, you'd be better off with something like a Gigabyte 965P DS3 and Intel e6300 or e6600.

Oh, and that Corsair memory is DDR. You'd need DDR2. Some decent quality DDR2-533 if you will never ever overclock, or DDR2-667/800 if you'll think about overclocking sometime. Which I highly recommend, especially for the e6300.

First of all whats your budget?

You would get better performance out of an Intel system.

And getting 2x any card is worse than getting one higher end card. You should get a X1950pro (about $180), X1950XT (about $215), or 8800GTS 320Mb ($300). What ever fits your budget.

You wont get it from that system. Im playing vanguard also and I have it set to max...I do get like 35-50fps but when I hit a city i still lag a bunch. My system is a tad bit more beefy then the setup you propose : my setup

Came to about 1600. But like the other person said..you bought a VGA cable for a DVI monitor. Dump the 10k RPM hardrive my HD actually has faster seek times and slightly slower write times (you wont tell the difference) and only costs me $62. If you could specifiy a budget Id be more than happy to build you a nice rig on paper.

I was going on the person's above parts he linked in, as I said, you could say your build is gold, and I would stake a claim, I just don't know enough to have an informed decision yet.

Back to see how you are making out. Looks like Fox put together a nice rig, but you need to ask yourself how comfortable you are with over clocking. The E4300 is extreamly easy to overclock as it has such a low FSB. So if you have never overclocked this would be an excellent chip to start with and many people on this forum can help you when the time comes. But if you are dead against overclocking then you can look at a faster chip for more money, then getting rid of the cpu cooler and lowering your GPU to the next step down, the 8800GTS 320mb. Which should keep you in budget.

Why do you need a 945G MB, most of the time you go that route if you have legacy parts. I would look for a good 965 MB with what you are looking for.

Your spec shows a micro ATX board. Your case will take a full size atx board. Maybe look at this one.

Or do a little more research on boards a lot to choose from. But no sense going with a micro unless you are building with a SFF case.

Ok so you are looking good. The last item I need to comment on is the extra case fans you picked. Checked out your case at the manufacturers sight and it is stating room for 120mm fans front and rear. You choose 80mm. THey may fit as well but i would go for the 120mm as they move alot of air at lower rpm which means they will most likely be quieter then the 80 mm. I'm sure you can find them for same price or close enough.

One other thing to consider. The card you choose is bundled with

Don't know much about those items. But you may consider this card from EVGA. It comes with a free game. Dark Massiah. Don't know much about the game either but EVGA game bundles are usually decent games. Cards are guarenteed for life and they have a good step up program.
