Never OC'ed so I need Help!!

I've never Overclocked In my life so I could use some help. I don't want to kill my computer the first time I try it. Any help you could give me would be great.
I've talked to a number of my friend that have and they said it isn't that hard, I just need to know what I'm doing and take my time.
