Okay so,i have some cash to finally build a new gaming rig and i need your opinion on the build.
MB: Asrock Z170 Pro4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz
CPU: Intel i5 6600K
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14s
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked
SSD: Samsung SSD 750 EVO 120GB
HDD: Seagate 500GB 7200rpm / Western Digital WD Blue 1TB 7200rpm
PSU: XFX TS 650W Bronze 80+
CASE: Deepcool Tesseract SW
I plan on using my current case the Tesseract for the new PC.It comes with two fans (front and back) and i have added a third on the top. Also i have a BenQ 144hz monitor, thats why i have chosen the 1070.Although i was first considering the 1060,a lot of you guys say the 1070 is the way to go for 144hz monitors so i am willing to save a bit and go for the 1070.I will use my 500GB HDD and add another 1TB as well.
Now,is my current PSU good enough for this build? Its the XFX TS 650W.
I want to do a bit of overclocking on the CPU.Is the Noctua cooler i have chosen good enough for the task?If i can hit 4.2 or 4.3ghz with it,that would be great, since that is my goal.
