Greetings!
I recently acquired a 4TB internal HDD and just now plugged it in to my computer. When plugged in it causes a very short boot loop (doesn't even get to the mobo/bios screen) that doesn't seem to change no matter how many times I restart my computer.
This keeps on happening even if I plug out the SATA cable, so I had to remove power too. After I plugged that out I got a computer startup repair prompt that lead into a blue screen -> two more boot loops -> one crash and then normal startup.
For some reason, after I plugged it out, my normal HDD's are no longer listed while booting, only my raided SSD's. Still they are working and visible when I'm in Windows.
The HDD seems to work fine if I plug it in when the computer is running, although it will only let me create a 2TB partition. Read somewhere that's a different issue I will tackle when this is solved.
Not sure if it matters but I changed RAM in the same go, from 8gb -> 16gb with the same speed. It seems to work fine so I suppose I can disregard that as an issue?
Please let me know if there is anything that is not clear and I'll do my best to elaborate.
