Question New 9800x3d comes tomorrow ,what to do?

After i sleep and woke up asus prime x870 p wifi csm is already in my room.the thing after i build this do i need to update the bios of x870?is it required?what to do after that?do i need to study the bios first like PBO,PBO scalar,expo ,FCLK,UCLK,MCLK and etc?what is the important point to check after building 9800x3d.need opinion from you guys wheter i need to buy 9800x3d.

First - use the BIOS flashback feature to update your BIOS to the latest (non-beta) BIOS for your board. You do not need the CPU, RAM, or GPU to be installed to do this.

Second - test baseline performance/stability with nothing but EXPO/XMP enabled. Don't adjust anything else. Make sure your cooling solution is adequate and your CPU and GPU aren't overheating.

After that you can get into configuring for performance/overclocking. That'll be a completely separate thread. 😉

Sometimes motherboard like x870 can set power limit become unlimited like TDC,PPT,EDC equal to 1000 which is unsafe and can cause instability.do you know the correct number of these
