New Abit kg7-raid + athlon XP = No Post

Just got a new Abit kg7-raid with an athlon xp 1900 and it won't post. I tried different video card and ram. I tried to clear the cmos. All i get is long beeps. The heat sink and cpu were pre-installed. I don't want to remove the heatsink/fan to see if the chip is cracked, cause it will void its warrenty. Could it be the bios is needs to be flashed with a newer bios? Hard to do if you cant boot though. Let me know if you have any ideas.

3 long beeps usually indicates a memory problem, try swapping it out or using just one. Also the KG7-RAID requires the memory to start from a specific DIMM slot (check the manual for details) - can't remember if it is DIMM 4 to 1 or DIMM 1 to 4 in that order.

I am having the same problems with a new Abit Kg7. All I get is long repeating beeps. The ram is in the right slots but no post. All I have hooked up is a floppy drive and my geforce2 gts video card. Any ideas?
