New AMD Beta Driver Drops Windows XP Support

Almost all gamers will not be on xp by now I hope. XP had a nice long run but its time to move on.

Id say they supported it long enought.
After all, most GPUs are DX11 wich, if i remmber correctly, XP does not support.

How is it a dumb move? Why support an OS that doesn't support current versions of DX that these cards are designed for? Newer games are dropping XP support as well. XP is old and outdated.

well now it seems that AMD is not supporting vista was looking at fm2 & fm2+ boards and no vista chipset drivers though tere up to date XP drivers but not vista. vid card drivers you can go to vista drivers and get the latest driver but in the release notes its plain to see vista is not covered. just XP 7 8 and 8.1
