Hi everyone,
just a few days ago i builded a new rig (First try with AMD), but im having unexpected shutdowns while gaming (no more than 1/2hs after in game). when i go to event viewer i can see the error "Kernel 41" I tried updating all drivers, checked if I have the correct version of everything but keeps shuting down unexpectedly during game s. also changed in powersaving options all to performance and disabled all hybernating as a first try to solve...

Additional problems I experienced during this 3 days experience so far:
  • Was unable to install windows (stuck on logo) - SOLVED, ended up updating bios to the latest version.
  • processor was working very hot (Idle 70°C) so underclocked it for a more stable temp (Idle 55°C)

All parts are brand new except for the graphics card and hdd drives.
System info:
  • Ryzen 5 5600x (stock cooler) - Underclocked to 4.5 / 1.2v (still running a little hot while gaming 70/80°C - im waiting till the AIO arrives)
  • Mother Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro (1.0)
  • 32GB Ram (8x4) Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz (XMP enabled and running at 3200)
  • Graphics Card ASUS TUF 1660S
  • PSU Gigabyte 750w 80 Plus Gold
  • WD 750N 250gb (boot) (also new)
  • 2x WD blue HDD, 1TB and 2TB mass storage.
Right now Im almost out of options how to solve this, I will try to disable XMP and check, but this is new and dont know how to fix it or troubleshoot it...
