[SOLVED] New AMD GPU random fps drops

Hi, I have bought a new GPU for my system and unfortunately I am having problems;

Massive random fps drops, sometimes after 5min of gaming and other times after an hour. After the problem, my PC stutters and I have to restart it.
I play fine all the time at 150 fps at 1440p on ULTRA settings and at some point it drops to 50 fps and my whole PC stutters.

I installed the drivers with the AMD clean tool, I monitored the heat, but it doesn't seem to be. AMD and third parties say my power supply should be fine, but have my doubts. I'm at my wits end, could anyone help me?

My specs:

OS: W10 Pro 64bit

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

(NEW) GPU: MSI AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8G

(OLD) GPU: MSI AMD Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC

RAM: 2 x 8GB (16GB total)

MONITOR: 1440p 120hz - 165hz

STORAGE: 2 x SSD 500GB (1TB total)

MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte B450M - AM4

POWER SUPPLY: 600 WATT

Hello everyone,

My system is working properly again :)

The problem was my BIOS wasn't updated to the latest version, I'm glad this was it rather than a non-obvious issue.

Thanks for all the help, effort and time!
