Hello, Just upgraded to a 6900XT from a RTX2060. The RTX2060 ran Starcraft 2 just fine on 2560x1440 without having to do anything special. At this point I've tried driver updates, windows updates, etc, nothing works. It also says "No valid resolutions found" in settings. Any ideas? Sucks to upgrade and take a step backwards.

CPU: 3950X
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3200, 64GB
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 2TB
PSU: Corsair 1000W
MD: Asus X570 ROG STRIX E

Thanks!

Is this trying to change in game resolution or actually screen resolution, some games can lock the resolution if you are using windowed fullscreen from what i'm aware of.

In game settings. the drop down list stops at 1920x1200. I've gotten two other games to run at 2560x1440 though, so it's not like the video card is refusing to do it entirely.

What monitor are you using and what cable type, also is your actual windows resolution set to 2560x1440?

35" LG ultrawide, 3440x1440 with a displayport cable/port. The displayport version on the monitor is set to 1.4. I swear it's something between the AMD driver and starcraft 2, other games run fine at higher resolutions than 1920.

Download the latest Radeon driver.
Perform a full uninstall of ALL GPU drivers and GPUs using DDU - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Reboot.
Install the latest Radeon drivers.

You could be having some issues with your old NVIDIA drivers messing things up. You also may need to reinstall Starcraft 2.

I did uninstall all of the Nvidia stuff, but not with that DDU program. Does it make that much of a difference? I tried switching back to the RTX2060 and the full resolution was back. Is it possible the AMD driver just doesn't mesh with SC2 for some reason?

Uninstalling is usually good enough but. since you're having issues, I would go the full DDU route (uninstall all GPUs - including the 6900 XT).
SC2 should work fine at all capable monitor resolution. After you uninstall all GPU drivers/cards reboot and uninstall SC2 as well, deleting all game folders left over, and then reinstall SC2 AFTER you install just the latest 6900 XT drivers.
