I recently purchased a new Asus A55BM-E motherbpoard bundled with an AMD A6 6400k Processor, i took it to a local reputable PC Repair shop, well they installed the new motherboard and cpu today, and they said everything was working and it POSTed and went to bios, well when i got home i inserted my brand new DDR3 RAM (Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4gb modules), and when i went to use the onboard DVI port, the hdtv i was using said NO SIGNAL, well i tried the VGA port, NO RGB SIGNAL TV WILL TURN OFF... ok... well I hooked up my old monitor using the VGA cable and... NO INPUT SIGNAL...

The guys who installed the board said the computer worked, I dont have any speakers so i cant tell if its POSTing or not.... Im so aggrevated that i cant think straight

Solution
quick question did the store pull there ram from the pc or did you swap out the ram. if you swapped the ram out put one of the old dimms in and check the bios rev of the mb it may need to be updated to have the newest ram code. (1302)
the last four numbers of the mb serial number is the bios rev on asus mb. the mb should have cpu and ram and power led on the mb. the green power led should be on. the cpu fault led should blink and turn off as the cpu and gpu fault led if any led is on hard there an error. with the mb make sure the 4 pin or 8 pin atx power plug connected.
