Question New Asus TUF RTX 3080 reboots while playing

Greetings

Just got an Asus TUF RTX 3080 OC , and installed in my comp, but with demanding games, it reboots the computer. I think it maybe a power problem, so I installed MSI afterburner and focused in the most demanding game I had installed: Witcher 3.
With no modifications, the game rebooots the comp as soon it finished loading.
Using Afterburned lowered power slide to 50% and game remained stable. This triggered all alarms.
Installled GPU-Z and monitorized consumption while sitting idle in desktop.

Im not an expert. Dont know if these values are normal, but 100W board consumption while idle seems a lot. Before I proceed, did they sent me a faulty card and I should RMA it, or these values are correct?

The RTX 3080 could reach 320W.
It could be a power problem with the PSU. It might not be able to handle the power requirements of the RTX 3080.
Could you post your system components.

Yeah that is not idling at all. GTX 1070 on my old PC.

Thanks Nemesia, So time to RMA then? Or maybe the card is good and could be something wrong in my System? Will be hard to get another lucky strike and get another 3080 🙁 Maybe a nother user with a 3080 could post his idle consumptions pls?

Also have noted that the card doesn´t throtle down, GPU Clock remains at 1785 while idling. A friend got a 3080 Strix OC and his cards sits at 38W idle at 210Mhz. Any clues guys? any suggestion welcome.
