Hiya folks
I am looking to upgrade my current Benq 1920 x 1080 24" monitor and have a budget of around £250. I do game but not generally FPS tends to be MMOs or Far Cry Primal/Fallout 4/Skyrim etc.
The purchase has to be from Amazon due to gift vouchers etc.

The 2 which have caught my eye are

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-C32F391-32-Inch-Curved-Monitor/dp/B01DTLSQA2/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1487518295&sr=1-5&keywords=monitor
https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-Ultrawide-Monitor-2560x1080-Speakers/dp/B01BFH194W/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1487518295&sr=1-1&keywords=monitor

Now the main problem as I see it is that the 32" is nice but it is the same resolution, but will the curved and size improve my gaming experience?
Or would I be better off going for a straight 29" superwide or whatever they are calling them these days?

Any help or opinions you could give would be appreciated. :)

Well do you want it to be widescreen or in the same aspect ratio as you have at the moment? The second monitor you linked will be a squashed image (kind of).

I would choose the curved monitor. In my experience they are very good and offer an immersive experience.

The F591 is a identically speced model but is £20 cheaper no is also a slightly newer design so will last longer. (It is the remodelled version of the F391)

Also it is thinner, lighter and slightly more energy efficient
