Question New build, $1500-ish budget

I am looking for advice on a new build. Was trying to hit the $1500 mark, or there about. I can assemble the parts together no problem, but have absolutely no clue how to pick parts. What’s good, what’s not, what things don’t play nice together, ect. Below is an attempt to pick them, but I don’t know what is good and what is not. I tried to use the $1500 guide on this site as a baseline. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IMHO, I'd opt for a non F SKU processor, since the iGPU tends to come in very handy when troubleshooting discrete GPU related issues. As it stands, if your discrete GPU conks out, you're going to have to source another discrete GPU to rule out yours as the faulty part.

I would not be buying a 4070 at that price, with the 5070 coming at a similar price. Do you already have that SSD? It's not showing a price. Not sure I would buy 14th gen either. Intel supposedly fixed the cause for degradation, but not convinced it fixed anything yet.

Like I said, I really don’t know anything about choosing appropriate parts, so I definitely appreciate the insight. All my picks were to get as close to the “Best PC Builds for Gaming, $500 to $4000+” on this site. I missed the “read this first “ thread. I will complete the guide in the thread and hopefully I can get some help from there.
