So what do you think.. perfect 700 dollar gaming rig? or could i have done better?

nope, go intel or go home .. haha. The mobo is cheap but do you think it will be fine for the next few years ? The psu, from what i hear is pretty decent. Do i really need to update it? I bought all the parts.

Thanks

then don't ask for our opinions if you're already set on intel. every body will tell you amd at this price point. fx 8320+130$ gigabyte/asus mobo and a gtx 770> the build you posted by a mile and a half. honestly the fx is more future proof then that silly i5. hyperthreading can't compete with amd's 8 cores when it comes down to a pure gaming stand point(300$+intel processor to do what amd already does at half the price) fan boys these days.

I said overall on the build. and, the processor was 175$, not 300. I would take intel over amd cpus ANY DAY. Anyone will tell you that. They are just the much better company, and while they may be more expensive, i still prefer them . Whats the difference between 175, and 150 bucks . Thats right. 15 dollars. Gtx 770, way over budget. Please look at what i wrote before commenting. 8 cores? Lol silly. i5 will beat an fx 6 core anyday. i5 has newer technology like turbo boost and other things that beat amd. in a 700 dollar system , and me being an intel guy, I just prefer them. So you need to calm down. Besides that, i dont need my CPU taking up more watts then my GPU, thank you very much..

Oh, and the i5's minumum fps in game beats amd by 10 FPS in everygame.

i'd go with this

and if you want to say that your cpu is better than the 8320 go look here: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

@woltje1 and jubih: i wouldve gone with the same thing,

@op, on a buget, AMD's price to performance beats intel. and 83xx is about the same performance as the i5, not trying to burst your bubble

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4440-vs-AMD-FX-8320

also, why go intel when you cant overclock? if i were to go intel, i would get the i5 4670k, or the previous generation to overclock it. you can easily overclock an amd processor like the 8320 over 4.2 ghz, and at that point it will be better than the non-overclocked intel. also, amd processors also boost themselves into higher operating frequencies.

finally, it wouldve been easier to fill out the form that has an option for preferred company, i forget where it is. its somewhere on toms.

to stick with your intel, with that low of a budget theres nothing much you can do to get anything better without going amd

Well, I ordered the parts already. You dont have to be such jerks about it. I just prefer Intel over Amd. The gtx 760 is pretty much gonna be the main piece of hard ware in this build anyways.

wrong. I clearly cant even debate with such a fanboy as yourself why did you even ask for help if you know you want intel its a no brainer.

(Not a fanboy) Ive owned AMD before. Just saying i prefer intel. I already ordered the parts.
