Hello,

It's time to replace my old desktop, so I'm trying to put together a new build, for mixed use productivity/gaming), and I'd like to run it by you guys to see if I haven't made any blunders in picking the parts (bad parts, overpriced parts, incompatibilities, ...).

Here's what I got for now:

CPU: 9600X
Cooler: Peerless Assassin 120 SE.
Motherboard: MSI PRO B850-P (in ATX form factor)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x32 DDR6000 CL30
SSD: Corsair MP700 Elite 1To
GPU: ASRock Steel Legend RX 9070 16GB
Case: MSI Velox 100R
PSU: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850w 80+ (I think 750w might be enough, but it's only a 10€ difference)

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Strange, I rechecked and for me it gave the same listing. Anyway, I edited to try to fix it.

For the GPU: I was advised that the 5070's 12GB VRAM was a bit on the low side. I'm not married to the 9070, however. Which 5070 would you recommend?

The 5070 is slower, and has less v-ram too. That case is terrible for airflow. Overspending a bit to the point that you could jump up to a 9700x.

I made it match the white of the GPU.
