hi i already picked out the parts i just want to double check if everything is compatible heres the list:

MoBo:ASUS Intel Z77
CPU: Intel I5-3570k. (IVY BRIDGE)
GPU: ASUS HD7950
PSU: Corsair 650-Watt
CASE: Corsair Graphite 600T
SSD: Crucial 128 GB SATA
MEMORY: COrsair Vengence 8GB 1600MHZ
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
OS: Windows 7 Premium

total cost is about 1400

If prices for the two cards are the same then you should go with the better card and the GTX 670 is one level above the 7950.

Everything else looks good although you didn't give us the model of the Asus board and Z77 is not the model number it's the chipset used in the motherboard.

Solution
The motherboard you chose is good and is a good medium price because they make a V-Pro and a V-Deluxe which you most likly won't need because for the price increase they add some small features that aren't woth the extra money unless you need them.
