I'm going to buy a new PC my old PC with a gtx 1060 and i5 6500 was stuttering and had drops all the time no matter what game i played so i thought it was time for a new PC

Gtx 1080 8gb ROG strix
I7 7700k
32GB RAM 3000 speed
1 SSD 500gb
4TB Hard Drive
Corsair TX650M 80plus gold PSU
Asus Z270-P Prime
Corsair H60 120mm Hydro liquid cooler

Won't change anything on this list

I know that 1080 is overkill for 1080p gaming i'll get a new screen maybe next year
But some people say that this setup will Bottleneck in games like Battlefield 1 in 1080p Ultra Settings is it true or not will i be able to run Battlefield 1 or any games in 1080p without stutters or fps drops?

Solution
This will have no bottlenecks and yeah you are making an overkill setup. That build is for 1440p 144hz gaming. Why 32gb RAM? Also, get a better CPU cooler. The 7700k runs hot. Also, why not Asus Z270-A? (little better)

My 7700k + 980ti (about like a gtx 1070), runs BF1 at 1440p Ultra with 90fps average in multiplayer.
You will see GPU testing at 1080p more often cuz at lower resolution the CPU is a bigger factor. By getting a 7700k you have no issue. Then the GPUs should perform in scale.

Yes, you must turn off Vsync. You will turn on Gsync on your monitor, via buttons, and the same will be true in game settings. never use Vsync since you have the far superior Gsync.

Ok thanks i'm glad that i won't face problems with a i7 7700k gtx 1080 on the 1080p 144hz Gsync Monitor and i'm super happy that i don't have to enable that crap Vsync thanks for your help again :) but i am just so afraid that the Corsair Vengeance LPX will be in the way because of Cryorig H5 Ultimate massive fan

And i'm buying 2 extra 140mm fans for the top and the case comes with 2 fans 1 in the back and 1 in the front which i think is enough fans but maybe i'll take 1 fan from my old pc and put it in the front so there is 1 in the back 2 on the top and 2 in the front what do you think about that i think that should be more than enough to keep the i7 7700k and the PC cool
