NEW BUILD - ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E - 4d ERROR CODE

Hi, I'm having trouble with my new build, and I'm getting a '4d' error code. I've reseated the CPU and updated the BIOS through the non-posting method. Below are my specs. Do you have any advice? I am going to try a CMOS reset in the interim.

Asus Tuf Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 OGOC
Samsung Pro SSD 1TB

More or less the first boot, the mobo was displaying a green VGA light and the BIOS update resolved that issue, However, the red light/4d code now illuminates after the BIOS update. I'll fire it back up and let the RAM warm up like its an old diesel Mercedes.

OK - Its been running a while and still the b4 persists. Any recommendations are welcome.

Well, now the error code is 4d. Maybe I was crossed-eyed yesterday!

Remove the 4090 and use the integrated GPU (yep, you have one). Any difference?

We are in the BIOS, with the GPU inserted after booting without the GPU slotted, but the Green VGA light is still illuminated. Is it safe to assume that I need to run updates to the drivers?

Is the 4090 installed or not? Your last post isn't clear.

Yes, once in Windows, you need to install the appropriate drivers.
