New build I'm having done at CyberPowerPC.

I think I've done a pretty good job. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find the "i5-11600K" in the available options there. Took me awhile to find one with that option. Same with the "MSI MPG Z590 GAMING CARBON" motherboard. That is a rare option on there.

P.S. Please DO NOT suggest another video card.

The "GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6" is exactly what I want.

Thoughts.
I would not build using an old gen cpu.

Storage.
OS and apps.......250GB or bigger pcie m.2.
Bulk.....1 or 2TB m.2 or 2.5 ssd.

Is there some reason you want the pro version of windows?

11 gen cpu + RTX 2060 for $2400 = major fail.

There was a lot of other stuff changed from the default.

Thoughts.
I would not build using an old gen cpu.

It exceeds the requirements for "Skyrim", "Mass Effect Legendary Edition", and "Trials of Mana" on Steam. So... That makes it more than good enough for me.

Storage.
OS and apps.......250GB or bigger pcie m.2.
Bulk.....1 or 2TB m.2 or 2.5 ssd.

I chose a good SSD for the main drive. And the secondary drive is the exact same as the old main drive on my Win 7 computer the rats destroyed. I'm hoping to recover some files if I hook the old drive up in the secondary slot.

Is there some reason you want the pro version of windows?

Pro is more stable than Home is.

Do you actually need a Pro version of Windows, is there a feature you need?

Pro is more stable than Home is.

That cpu cooler looks a bit basic after going for a 11600k

It will work with the 11600K. It won't work with the 11700K. The 11600K more than meets the requirements for Steam games.

and good overclocking motherboard.

I'm not going to overclock the motherboard.

You are buying a cpu and motherboard aimed at overclocking but that cpu cooler is fairly weak if overclocking. If overclocking get a better cooler, if not overclocking you don’t need a ‘k’ cpu and there are cheaper motherboard choices that will work equally well.

Why would you want to pay more, for less performance? Also, cyberpower had terrible build quality control. Look into an NZXT build. https://nzxt.com/build/pc/4d3ee740-02aa-4776-a811-cbc3fefa8b31
