New build can't get display

Having issues with my new build.

Cant get a display on my monitor. I believe its posting because the lights on my motherboard (EZ DEBUG LEDS) cycle cpu, vga, ram then gets to boot. I tried the boot troubleshooting posted everywhere. Tried using ram in every slot 2 dif sticks. Remounted everything. Tried without gpu in and it stopped at VGA light. All case lights are on. Fans spinning. I only have hdmi cord also

Are you using the HDMI port of the motherboard? If so, you can't get a display from there as the Ryzen 7 1800x does not have integrated graphics - as such, a dedicated GPU is always required to get a display. Make sure your HDMI cable is plugged in the HDMI port of your GTX 1060 GPU.

So it was hdmi port not being enabled guess it needs update. I found a hdmi to dvi adapter and boooom came right on
