Haven't done a build in a while. Looking to overclock an i7-7700k, noththing crazy but comments on my mother board and RAM selection?

Intel Core i7-7700K (Kaby Lake)
ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 ATX Motherboard USB 3.1
G.SKILL TridentZ 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZ

Solution

x99 or the x299 in near future could also be an option.(alternate platform haswell-e haswell)
i7 6800k 6850k 6900k depending on ur budget. no budget? 6950x
comparing at overclocked speed, the multicore should yield slightly better results compared to 7700k
x99 supports more pcie lanes
run nvme...
Primary purpose is work, will be running databases, video and photo processing. Also gaming but that would be like 30% of the need.

My question is for overclocking. I've seem comments about which RAM models are stable w/ which CPU and Motherboard. I'm going with a min of 16 and most likely 32GB of memory. Is the G.SKILL TridentZ DDR4 3200 Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZ as good combination for this CPU and Motherboard?

thanks in advance
